Individual coaching sessions are offered:
Individual coaching is offered as a one off session or you can book 3 or 6 coaching sessions to focus on your personal and professional development.
The 10 week group coaching course is designed to support Black student social workers and Black newly qualified Black social workers with their personal and professional development. The course will address the unique barriers and challenges experiences by Black social workers and we will support you with the experience of prejudice, discrimination, oppression and racism.
This course will support you where you will be supported to clarify your intention, purpose and vision and align your core values and beliefs with your personal and professional goals.
During the course we will explore the impact of your thoughts, feelings and behaviour on achieving your goals and help you to explore resolutions to challenges and develop practical solutions to implement meaningful change while being accountable for your own actions.
The course will support you to reflect on factors that have been holding you back from achieving your true potential while thinking about how to create balance in your life.
This course is delivered weekly through individual and group coaching modules to integrate and apply your learning in a confidential space.
The course is interactive course and it will take place online using a virtual platform. The sessions will not be recorded to support you to share and maintain privacy.

The Workbook, Journal and online community ‘The Self Aware Leader’ to support you through your journey. In the community you can access resources and support through your journey and share your challenges and your successes.
The self assessment undertaken during the initial session we will support you to identify your goals.
The group session will have 6 to 8 participants.
Participants will be invited to sign up in advance, start and finish at the same time on the same days.
The course is delivered over 10 weeks and the dates for the course will be provided to each cohort.
The content is delivered live through weekly sessions. The sessions aim to create an intimate and safe conversation space.
The group will work together to share their individual and collective experiences to support each other to achieve their goals.
The group agreement will be developed by the participants. During the first session we will co create the shared expectations for the course.
During the self assessment you will have the opportunity to identify your individual focus throughout the sessions.
The participants will be supported with email communication between the modules.
The participants will also be supported within the Facebook group, Private Whatsapp Group and the journal.
The results from coaching will depend on your input.
This course will support you to clarify your intention, purpose and vision to support you to identify goals in all areas of your life.
The course will support you to create an action plan to achieve your goals.
The results from group coaching will depend on your motivation, commitment and dedication to change.
We will work together to support you to take actions to achieve your goals.
Following this programme for an additional fee you can participate in monthly individual or group coaching sessions to support you to monitor, review and continue to achieve your goals.
Master classes will be held to support you to continue to integrate and apply your learning. The sessions focus on specific areas:
You will need to be able to attend all course dates, as each module will build upon the previous modules. This course is an interactive course and it will take place online using a virtual platform.
If you are unable to attend a module we can arrange a one to one session (90 minutes) to review the module at an additional fee.

Depending on where you are on your journey you may want to start at the beginning of the workbook or choose a module that reflects what you would like to focus on and then choose your next module.
This workbook has been created for all the modules to support you individually and collectively. The most important thing is that you begin your journey.
The programme will take place weekly virtually over 10 modules 8am to 9.30am.
£1,725 per participant. Alternatively you can pay £395 per module if you would like to participate in a one off session. Each session is 90 minutes, the sessions are weekly over a 10 week period.

Initial consultation: We start with an initial consultation to understand your organisation's needs, goals, barriers and challenges. This helps us tailor our mentoring and coaching approach to best support your team.
Customised coaching plans: Based on the consultation, we develop customised mentoring or coaching plan that address the specific needs of Black social workers in your organisation. These plans are designed to be culturally competent and sensitive to the unique experiences of your team.
Workshops and Training: We offer workshops and training sessions focused on professional development, resilience, and navigating systemic challenges. These sessions create a supportive environment for learning and growth.
One-on-one coaching: We provide individual mentoring and coaching sessions to offer personalised support and guidance. These sessions help social workers address specific barriers and challenges, set goals and develop strategies for success.
Ongoing support: Our support doesn't end with the mentoring or coaching sessions. We offer ongoing support through follow-up meetings, resources and check-ins to ensure continuous development and address any emerging needs.
Feedback and Evaluation: We regularly seek feedback from both the social workers and the organisation to evaluate the effectiveness of our mentoring and coaching and make necessary adjustments. This ensures that our services remain relevant and impactful.

High attrition rates can be challenging and costly. Our focus on tailored training and development helps reduce turnover by addressing the specific needs, barriers and challenges faced by final year Black social work students and Black newly qualified social workers.
