Enhancing recruitment, retention and reducing attrition
We are committed to diversity and inclusion within social work education and social work practice. Our training and development programs for Black student social workers and Black newly qualified Black social workers are designed to support their growth, career advancement and wellbeing.
Boosting recruitment
We actively seek to attract final year Black social work students and Black newly qualified social workers by offering comprehensive training programs that demonstrate our commitment to their professional development. These initiatives highlight our dedication to creating an inclusive environment where their unique perspectives and skills are valued.
Enhancing retention
Retention goes beyond simply keeping employees; it's about ensuring they feel supported and valued. Our training and development programs provide final year Black social work students and Black newly qualified social workers with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. This includes mentorship, coaching, management and leadership training and continuous learning opportunities and investing in their development and growth.
Reducing attrition
High attrition rates can be challenging and costly. Our focus on tailored training and development helps reduce turnover by addressing the specific needs, barriers and challenges faced by final year Black social work students and Black newly qualified social workers. We cultivate a diverse and inclusive work culture where everyone feels heard and respected, leading to higher job satisfaction and lower attrition rates.
